USC Students won Gold Medals in 2012 BOSEPO Olympiad

In February 3-4, 2012, USC students successfully represented their highly scientific projects at 2012- Bosna Sema Project Olympiad known as BOSEPO which was held in Sarajevo. In the event, 96 finalist projects from different schools competed with each other. We witnessed a HISTORIC moment as we watched students from USC , Medina Colic, Sejla Hujic from energy catagory and Ines Mehicic ,Adis Alagic from engineering won Gold Medals and 200KM and 100KM respectively cash award in the Olympiad.Furthermore 8 silver medals ,12 bronze medals and 8 mention awards went to other students from USC thanks to their high performances.Eventually, USC Students collected totally 24 medals.In addition to these ,There is an important event we would like to express proudly Microbial Electrolysis Cellmade by Medina Colic and Sejla Hujic will participate in I-SWEEEP 2012 (International Sustainable Energy Engineering Environment Project Olympiad) without elimination which will be held in Houston,USA
WE as school administration would like to thank all students who attended this competition for displaying big patient during all trip as well.
Congratulations to young scientists of future who exhibited great spirit, high efforts throughout this remarkable organization. Many thanks to all of our USC students and their parents for the help and support.Special thanks to prof.dr. Halid Makić (the decan of Biotechnical University of Bihać) for his support and letting our students use his laboratories.We as supervisors are very grateful to be able to be a part of such a wonderful family.

Seeing so many bright students from different schools that united for the same goal, saving the future of our World, increased my hopes for our future. I congratulate all students for their successes in such a competitive Olympiad. It was truly amazing and historic for our school. Their successes made me and my colleague proud of them. As we worked together on their projects, I was very much impressed with their curiosity in science, especially environmental science and their dedication for their work. Also, this was a valuable experience for them as they had a chance to conduct a high level research in university laboratories when they prepared their project. By doing this, I believe, we are preparing our students for their future careers starting from their high school years.

It was amazing,funny, a good experience :)i liked it very much,jut this weather conditions were not good,we missed the final ceremony which was a pity.but all in all it was cool |
