Every HARD WORK may not result with the evidence of SUCCESS but no SUCCESS comes without HARD (and proper) WORK
I have been many project Olympiads as jury member and supervisor as well. The BOSEPO year 2012 was unforgettable to me not just because of extraordinary weather conditions but also it’s content. All the 90 project which been chosen after curious and keen elimination by the organizing committee of Bosepo belong to 5 schools Bosna Sema Educational Body. Una Sana College was represented by 16 really eligible projects. Students who were supposed to be there but not missed a big science fest. of their life indeed. We were also expecting our student’s parent to be at Burch University who is accommodating this incredibly educational and innovative fest event to see, observe and at least support their very much respectful creative and responsible kids. Unfortunately I was surprised by not seeing any of educational Institution and governmental representative although we have invited so, which I used to see many of them in these events before in other regions. Beside these I have seen my students with proud and big heart were there. They showed how they take the responsibility for their own future for alternative energy or environment by creating very original engineering approach to the today problems like undrinkable tap water or air pollution or fossils oils. Every single project was a solution to a ecological problem which is actually created by their elders, but instead blaming them they wanted to prepare their own future for a sustainable life and survivable world. Since USC has a policy not to restrict education with the walls of classrooms the BOSEPO organization created extra excitement in USC.
I would like to thank to: our supervisors who lead students while preparing projects by showing them how to prepare projects in a scientific way with proper methods hence to support them all the time, the rest of the education body who helped students and showed patient when they are working on the projects and Mr. Mehmet Okuyucu the chemistry teacher who is in charge of project organizations. As well as teachers I would like to thank USC students for their contribution and work, they showed their great attitude during travel and unfavorable weather conditions in Sarajevo. Those conditions in Sarajevo might show and opened them new ideas and project blueprints for future. Our Bosna Sema Headquarter beside them Bosepo Organizer Serkan Dogan showed us great hospitality including carrying luggage of students during two days we trapped in Sarajevo because of weather conditions.
As a result of Bosepo it is declared that one project from USC will join ISWEEEP competition, two Projects will participate INEPO EuroAsia, Azerbaijan. Further applications will show us different international project Olympiads like INEPO and EBIKO Turkey, IYIPO Georgia, INFOMATRIX Romania, INESPO Holland, and some others in different countries in this world. USC students will compete for better, comfortable, safer, cleaner, renewable, sustainable world with their projects to other projects which are aiming the same thing. In the future USC desires to widen this project competition so represent our region then country in different areas of science.
